Onslaught, released on October 7, 2002, kicks off a block centered entirely around tribal mechanics, focusing on creature types like Goblins, Elves, Wizards, and Beasts. This set introduced the 'Morph' mechanic, allowing players to cast creatures face down for strategic surprise. Each factory-sealed booster box contains 36 booster packs, with 15 cards per pack, making it a foundational set for tribal deck builders and players who enjoy creature-centric combat.
